Engracia Noelani Baker "Gracie"

Born the 3rd day of Janurary, Ninteen hundred and Nintey Nine.

Making Leslie and Ross the

proudest parents ever. It was

a long yet joyous road that

brought her arrival.

She was born 7lbs 14oz

at 10:24AM PST

It's my theory that it all started on

Janurary 1st with my secret recipe

black eyed peas and corn bread,

and slammin' Sea Bass.

We spent the evening by the fire

and told baby we were all ready
for him/her to come.

Labor started Saturday Morning at 8AM.

We decided to spend the day at the cliffs of the pacific

so we could talk to God and Gracie and welcome her coming

Leslies Sister Venessa

joined us and helped me

support Leslie through the

day and night.

There was lots of

anxiety and some pain

but it was a joy filled

day.

We headed to the hospital at 6:00 AM. Things got serious.

From 6:15AM until 10:24 It was lots and lots of work for

Mommy. She worked very very very hard. I massaged very

very very hard. That was about all I could do to help.

We MADE IT though!

Wow! Its a girl!
